“I finally have an opportunity to write a formal thank you to you, your administrator, and the entire staff at the Falls Home for making my mother’s life while there so enjoyable. There is no price that can be placed on love, and the love that was shown to her by those who cared for her goes beyond what words can describe. It was exactly the right place, at exactly the right time, with exactly the right people who surrounded her. And now she is in a new season; in exactly the right place, at exactly the right time, with exactly the right people surrounding her.
She has adjusted beautifully, and is already loved by all of the staff. We bought her a new recliner to take her little catnaps in. One of the staff is working with her hearing issues through electronic amplification devices so that she can not only see the harpist when she comes in to play for the residents, but will be able to hear the music as well. She’s signed up for bingo, flower and vegetable gardening, music events, cooking, church services, and whatever else comes down the pike! And she’s happy!! What more can I say!!!
The Bible says there is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens. The time was right for her transition to a new season. One of the proofs of that is how beautifully she has adapted. Her every need is being met, and we are at peace with the care and love she is being met with.
We write to say thank you to everyone there. We write to encourage all of you to continue to do what you do, in the way that you do it, and for the reasons you do it!
Please distribute this e-mail to everyone there, and be sure the entire staff has an opportunity to read it. And lastly to all of the staff: May the Lord bless you and keep you; make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may He turn His face toward you, and give you peace!”
